With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vanessa Jones of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 16, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Jean Robinson; and her sister Lynette Williams. She is survived by: her husband James E. Jones; her daughters, Ebony Adjonko (Koami) of Wichita, TX, Brittany Anderson (Qadihr) of Philadelphia, PA and Tiffany Williams of Pittsburgh, PA; her siblings, Theresa Benning (Cornelius) of Pittsburgh, PA and Louis Gideon III (Gwen) of Naples, FL; and her grandchildren, Camryn, Ny'Ahra, Nydia, Amora, Nyomi, Kartier and Olyvia. She is also survived by loving Nieces, Nephews, cousins, and a host of Friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bishop Otis L. Carswell Heritage Center (3000 Versailles Ave, McKeesport, PA 15132). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery (321 Kittanning Pike, Pittsburgh, PA 15215).
