We announce the death of Vern A. Henery (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 92. Vern will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern F. Henery and Minnie (Barbour); his wife Adaline (Beatty); and his siblings, William, Clay, James and Margaret.
He is survived by: his son Vern W. (Greta B.) of Elverson, PA.; his grandsons, Clay (Margaret) of Austin, TX, Wade (Madison) of Collegeville, PA and Sean of Coupland, TX; and his great grandchild Alice.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Unity A Community Church (215 Unity Trestle Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15239). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Unity Community Church (215 Unity Trestle Rd, Plum, PA 15239).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Unity Community Church in Plum Borough, PA where Vern was a member for 60 plus years.
