He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Marie Akers Miesel and Walter Emanuel Miesel; his siblings, Victor, Rolland, Shirley and Marvis; and his grandson Joseph Michael Gray.
He is survived by: his significant other Patricia; and his children, Marlene (Kevin), Janet (Bill), Patti Lou (Jim) and Mark (Teresa). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
