With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Lewis of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 26, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Walter may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Walter touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Lewis and Beulah Lewis; his sister Leona A. Grigsby; and his niece Robin Lynne Grigsby. He is survived by: his siblings, Janice Elliott (Robert) and Martin Lewis (Cynthia); his niece Lisa Elliott of Maryland; and his nephews, Mark Elliott of Texas and Lee Grigsby (Gwen) of Washington, DC.
