He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lackner and Bernice Lackner. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Thomas Lackner (Teri), William P. Lackner and Kerri Hillebrand (Terrence); his grandchildren, Erin, Nichole, Samantha, Molly, Tomasina, Joseph and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Temperance, Thomas and Marvin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Washington City Mission.
