He is survived by: his children, Susan Hammerle (Edwin), Kathy Szal (Marcel), Kim Cisar (Steve) and Kristina Hopchak (Ron); his grandchildren, Mary Shore, Nancy Barkman (Chris), Billy Hopchak (Abby) and Abbie Hopchak; and his great grandchildren, Haleigh Barkman, Isabella Kelly (Dru), Elizabeth, Christian Barkman and Adeline Hopchak.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Szal Funeral Home, Inc. (238 Helen St, McKees Rocks, PA 15136). A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location.
