He was predeceased by: his parents, Will and Althea L.; his wife Sandra L. Nevel; his sisters, Althea Bruce and Jo-Ellen Wells; and his father-in-law James Black.
He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley, Marjorie, Carol and Henry; his children, Pamela, Steven and Brian; his sister-in-law Deborah Clemmons; his siblings' children, Craig, Dana, Garnett and Dante; his grandchildren, Imani, Dylan, Alexander, Zoe and Olivia; and his daughters-in-law, Jarrin and Stacey. He is also survived by Great nieces & nephews, cousins, in-laws, mentees, students, and co-workers.
