He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Barnett Patterson and William Morrow Patterson, Sr.; his wife Marilyn C. Patterson; and his sister Elizabeth Barnett Patterson. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Patterson; and his brother David Hunter Patterson. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
