She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph M. Dessoye, Sr.; her siblings, Mary L. Grimes, Patrick Morahan and Elizabeth Ann Cooper; her brother-in-law John F. Grimes; and her son-in-law J. R. Rutkowski.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph (Rosemary), James (Linda) and Judy Dessoye; her grandchildren, Jennifer Haas, Jodi Boylan, Jillian Ivey, Joseph Dessoye and Jimmy Dessoye; and her great grandchildren, R. J., Alex Haas, Madeline Boylan, Lauren, Jacob Ivey, Isabella, Jamieson Dessoye, J. D. and Luke Dessoye. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Meals on Wheels of Greater Pittston, 59 S. Main St., Pittston 18640; or to the Care and Concern Clinic, 37 William St., Pittston 18640.
