He is survived by: his wife Catherine McDonald; his children, Christine Rosenberg (James), Arthur Jr. Wheeland (Michelle), Martin Wheeland, Harding and Brian Wheeland; his grandchildren, Victoria, Jennifer, James, Megan, Brittany, Jared, Matthew, Zachary and Christian; his great grandchildren, Anna Lynn, Lila, Landon, Nash, Julianna and Amelia; and his siblings, Harry Wheeland (Florence), Rose Wheeland, Kathy, Evelyn, Charlott, Marie, Patricia and Jill.
