She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Baran and Mary Pasternak Baran; and her brother John Baran. She is survived by: her husband Edmund J. Resperski Jr.; her children, Mark Resperski and Sheri Resperski of Pittston; her sister Irene; her brother-in-law William Dugan; and her pets, Joy, Sugar and Angel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Every Christmas, Bernadine would donate to the Christmas Angels at her church and monthly donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
