He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Walter Boos and Marie Smith Boos; his wife Beverly Pahl Boos; his former wife Joan Summeral Boos; his sister Marita Boos Pipan (Cyril Pipan); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Dickson, David Pahl, Charles Pahl and Joseph Summeral.
He is survived by: his children, Kay Boos, Marita Tomaszewski (Mike), West of Wyoming, Carl Boos, Exeter, Joanne Costello (Bob), Jill Liberaski (Patrick), Lisa Boos and Wendy Guzenski; his sister Nancy Boos Dickson; his sisters-in-law, Rita Hensley Pahl and Ellin Pahl; his grandchildren, Janine Tomaszewski Mroczka (Mike), Michael Tomaszewski (Maria), Robert Costello, Matthew Costello, Joey Sherinsky (Ben Stroud), Emily Liberaski (Brennen Cruz) and Justin Sherinsky (Rachel Hess); and his great grandchildren, Owen Tomaszewski and Madelyn Mroczka.
A reception was held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adonizio Funeral Home (251 William St, Pittston, PA 18640).
Memorial Donations in Jerry's name may be made to the Meals on Wheels of Greater Pittston.
