He was predeceased by: his parents, Primo Tafani and Dominica Giovannini Tafani. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Geiger Tafani; his children, Michelle Mushinski (Bill), Tina Olson (Erik), Giampiero Tafani, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Dominick Primo Tafani (Sarah); and his siblings, Diana Magni and Bruno Tafani (Marie). He is also survived by his many grandchildren, his great-grandson, his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
