John A. Kolander Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Kolander of Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Kolander and Anthony Kolander. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his sons, John Jr. of Scranton and Jeffrey (Charlene) of Collegeville; his grandchildren, Zachary, Natalie, Ryan and Andrew; his sisters, Dorothy Swieboda and Ceil Standish; and his brother-in-law Bill Parry (Christa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc. (255 McAlpine St, Duryea, PA 18642). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
