He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Coolbaugh (Sutliff); and his brothers, Emmit, Wilbur and Abraham Coolbaugh. He is survived by: his children, Sam Noone (Deb) of Springhill, Julie Cooper (Doug) of Harding, Christine Fazio (Paul) of Plains, John E. Coolbaugh Jr. of Tunkhannock and Bruce Coolbaugh (Megan) of Factoryville; his grandchildren, Olivia, Michael, Kelly, Kayla, John III, Cole, Bruce Jr. and Inna; his stepgrandsons, Todd Kern Jr., Nicholas Fazio and Matthew Fazio; his great grandchild Harmony; and his siblings, James Coolbaugh (Alberta) of Harding and Margaret Coolbaugh of Exeter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home (1030 Wyoming Ave, Pittston, PA 18643). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:25 AM at the Memorial Shrine Burial Park.
