As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Carmody and Martha Hendrickson Carmody. He is survived by: his wife Helen Lunney; his daughters, Lisa Algarin (Rich) of Scotchtown, NY and Jennifer Krakosky (Ken) of Shavertown, PA; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kiara, RJ Algarin, Megan, Mikayla and Ryan Krakosky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to United Methodist Homes Foundation, 209 Roberts Road, Pittston, PA 18640, whose entire staff not only took incredible care of John during his time there but also forged many friendships with him which he and his family cherished.
