He is survived by: his children, William Ames III (Patricia), Laura Bleacher (Joseph Jr.) and Alicyn Emerick (Samuel); his grandchildren, Colton, Easton, Mallory, Melissa and Blakely; and his brothers, Joe Ames (Arlene), Bob Ames (Terri) and Steve Ames. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
