He was predeceased by: his parents, William Angelo and Elizabeth Stella (Dieso); his wife Caroline "Carole" Kosek; and his siblings, Angelo, Anthony, Matthew Stella, Elizabeth Levin, Rose Hanas and Dolores Occhiato.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Stella (Grady Federer), Susan Stella (Brad Blaine), Mary Stella and Kingston; his grandson Rocco Catina; and his great grandchild Jack Gregory Bukowski. He is also survived by brother.
