He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Blair and Florence Alexander (Estright); and his siblings, Martha Shope, Janet Lose, JoAnn Beck and Richard Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gearhart Alexander (Vare); his children, Donald W. Alexander of Centre Hall, Julie E. Alexander of Pleasant Gap and Susan E of Pleasant Gap; his grandchildren, Tanner Smith of Pleasant Gap and Kiana Smith of Lock Haven; his great grandchildren, Mila of Pleasant Gap and Ella Smith of Pleasant Gap; and his sister Judy Dyke (Gary) of Julian.
