The family announces the passing of John Martino of Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania on October 4, 2026. John, born on September 10, 1942, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Ann Martino (Lauterbach); and his sisters, Marie Shuttleworth and Shirley Martino. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Martino-Smith (David), John Martino Jr. of Newnan, GA, Christopher Martino (Kathleen) of Jefferson Hills and Leonard Martino (Lourdes) of Harpers Ferry, WV; his grandchildren, Alyssa Batzli, Nicholas Smith, Thomas Martino, Sarah Moore, Mitchell Martino, Elizabeth Kuzminski, Domenic Martino, Kaitlan Forquer, Vincent and Anthony Martino; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob Batzli, Eliza, Eloise Moore, Nathan and Ava Forquer; and his brother Stephen Hruska (Robyn) of O'Hara Twp. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home (221 N 2nd Ave, Elizabeth, PA 15037). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Park.
