She is survived by: her husband Carl William Sandvik; her mother Aino Maria Backstrand (Nisumaa); her children, Elisa Aino Truscott (Brian) of League City and Karl Erik Sandvik (Jasmine) of Willis, Texas; and her grandchildren, Aila Kathryn Truscott, Alina Jean Truscott and Jouko Eino Sandvik.
