She was predeceased by: her parents, George J. Kugler and Edna A. Martin Kugler; her former husband Kenneth Gabel; her husband Theodore S Smith; and her brother George Kugler (Dora).
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Gabel (Nancy) of Reading, PA, Thomas A. Gabel (Lori) of Success, MO, Joanne Daly of Poughkeepsie, NY, Frederick Gabel, Diane Iwanowycz (John) of Riverview, FL and Kurt Smith (Janet) of Middlesex, NJ. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and nieces, cousins, and a nephew.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Juliana's Church (2048 Creamton Dr, Pleasant Mount, PA 18453). A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
