He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Nester and Helen Kope Nester Sines; his stepfather Donald Sines; and his siblings, Van A. Nester and Marla Caldwell.
He is survived by: his brother Monte Nester (Lauri) of Grand Valley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
