He was predeceased by: his parents, David Custer and Janet Thompson Custer; his wife Patricia A. Custer; his brother Ronald Custer; and his nephew Daniel Messing.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Custer of Philadelphia, Jamie Custer (Erin) of Schwenksville, Suzanne Custer of Kingston and Colleen Custer of Shavertown; his grandchildren, Troy J. Myers, McKayla Barber, Cassidy Barber, Kailee Custer, Sebastian Custer, Gabby Clarkson and Julianna Clarkson; his close friend Barbara Charles; and his siblings, Donna Curci and David Custer Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
