Joseph C. Cocalis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph C. Cocalis of Point Marion, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Cocalis and Eleanor Cocalis (Hopkins); his former wife Donna Cocalis (Fuhs); his wife Cynthia L. Cocalis; his sons, Dwight Sisk (Stephany Moody) of Sykesville, MD and Travis (Janelle Barnhart) of Chesapeake, VA; his grandchildren, Noah, Kiley, Garrett and Peyton Sisk; his siblings, Susan Cocalis, Michelle Sharkin, Guy Cocalis and Ralph Cocalis; and his great grandchildren, Griyson, Kallie, Layla, Adelyn, Harper, Jenson, Raegan and Brier.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Herod-Rishel Funeral Home (501 Morgantown St, Point Marion, PA 15474). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be offered to St. Jude's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
