She was predeceased by : her husband John E. Armitage Sr.; and her parents, William B. Knott and Agnes V. Goebel (Grigsby). She is survived by : her sons, John E. Armitage Jr. (Joanne) of Effort, PA, Christopher Armitage (Wendy) of Epcot, NY and Steven Armitage of Kunkletown, PA.; and her grandchildren, Daniel (Kristi), Andrew (Lindsey), Nancy (Michael O'Connell), Basheer, Christopher, John and Samantha. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made In Loving Memory of Mary E. Armitage to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
