He was predeceased by: his parents, David Samuel Barr of Tyrone and Helen Grace Meyer of State College; his brother Timothy; his nephew David C. Baldner; and his brother-in-law Thomas Frederick.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Troy Barr (Elizabeth Stevens), Travis Paul Barr (Barbara), Kristi Lynne Barr of Harold Woodruff, III. and Matthew Marion Barr (Carla); his grandchildren, Cassandra, Emily, Ian, Natalie, Owen, Olivia, Madelyn and Izabella; his stepmother Suzanne A. Barr; and his siblings, Robert S. Barr (Holly), Nancy L. Frederick and Barbara B. Baldner (Michael). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
