She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Hancharik and Mary Hancharik (Yuscanitch); her husband Griffith Spaid Sr.; and her siblings, Stephen Hancharik, Mary Jane Wozny, Andrew Hancharik and Irene Diapranzio.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert Spaid of Portage and Richard Spaid (Joanne) of Somerset; her grandchildren, Jody Gearhart and Christian Spaid (Tina); her great grandchildren, Isaac Will, Morgan Byrne (Brandon), Jodin Closs (Andre), Christian Spaid and Megan Gearhart; and her great great grandchildren, Bailey Byrne, Landon Byrne, Owen Closs, Marieann Closs and Grace Will.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Avenue, Windber, PA 15963.
