Linda Nye Obituary
We announce the death of Linda Nye of Portersville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 77. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward D Kelley and Kathleen P LeFebvre Kelley; her husband George Nye; her son George Nye, Jr.; her granddaughter Tiffany Nye; and her siblings, Ed "Joe" Kelley, Rose Dean and Diane Toney.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Stefko (Tim Gallagher) of New Castle and Chris Nye (Shannon) of Slippery Rock; her grandchildren, Casey Pistorius (Crystal), Cody Pistorius, Stephanie Nye, Brittany Belczyk (Anthony), Chloe Geyer (Caleb) and Zoey Nye; her great grandchildren, Mylie, Carson, Richard, Blayke, Paris, Luka and Isiah; her sisters, Patty Painter, Mary Lechner and Kathy Hempfling; and her in-laws, Jeannetta Nye Arnold, Doll Nye, Don Dean, Diane Lessner and Dave Toney. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services (387 Main St, Prospect, PA 16052).
