It is with sadness that the passing of Charles Gilroy (Pottstown, Pennsylvania) is shared. Charles, born on November 23, 1942, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Charles will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Charles by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Charles is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Charles’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Gilroy; and his parents, Charles Gilroy and Loretta Gilroy (Reed). He is survived by: his children, Scott Gilroy Kelly (Desiree) and Chris Gilroy (Heather); and his siblings, Catherine (late Frank Corman) and Patrick James Gilroy (Carole). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. James Lutheran Church (93 Kugler Rd, Limerick, PA 19468). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery (701 Farmington Ave, Pottstown, PA 19464).
