With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Conley Whitfield Sr. (Pottstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Conley may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon Whitfield Sr. and Hazel Whitfield; and his sister Dorothy. He is survived by: his brothers, Benny, Solomon Jr., Clarence (Conley "Bubba") and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity; his children, Conley Whitfield Jr. and Stephanie M. Whitfield; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Sydney and Garrett. He is also survived by friends, fraternity brothers.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (955 N Charlotte St, Pottstown, PA 19464). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
