He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Sherman and Joyce A. Sherman (Banyai). He is survived by: his wife Christine Sherman (Kidon); and his siblings, Paul Sherman (Carol), James Sherman (Virginia "Ginny"), Vinnetta Pollock (Edward) and Catherine Sherman.
