With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Debra L. McCarthy (Pottstown, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Blais Ann Bari (Selwyn); her husband John; her son Justin Peterson; her close friend Emily Thiel; her daughter Allison Peterson (Robert Freeman); her siblings, Larry Selwyn (late Marybeth), Georgia Piccarreta (Pete), Dana Kisch (Deb), Nancy Ziegler (Barry), Andy Kisch and Charlotte Hettrick (Brian); her grandchildren, Brayden, Jackson and Aly; and her nephew Adrian Kisch.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center (329 N Lewis Rd, Royersford, PA 19468). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation (https://leukemiarf.org) in Debra's name.
