She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Macy; her parents, William A. Stemmer and Viola Stemmer (Daugherty); her sister Eileen Calhoun; and her grandsons, Daniel Macy and Jason Plattner.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Gross (Gary), Bob Macy (Dee), Brad Macy (Felicia), Betsy Loffredo (Vince) and Chris Macy (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Jocelyn, Stephen, Alyssa, Jackie, David, Tara, Andrew, Colin, Will, Ed, Matt, Eric, Natalie, Justin, Marissa and Tiavin. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ellen's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
