He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlington Eugene Matz and Martha Winifred Matz (Derrick); and his sons, Rich and Mike Matz. He is survived by: his daughter Colleen Matz; his brother Dale Matz; his niece Michelle Harris (Michael); his great-nephew Nate Harris; and his cousin Jimmy Houck.
