He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder Lewis H. Jones and Mildred (Jackson). He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Jones (Brown); his children, Karen Jones (Prince Shelter Ephrain) and Howard Jones Jr. (Doris); his sister Thewantha Hines; and his grandchildren, Christopher Harper and Brittany Nyce (Alex).
