He was predeceased by: his parents, Kanhayalal and Karamdevi; and his brother Shyamlal. He is survived by: his wife Sudesh; his children, Reena (Rajeev Prabhakar), Mona (Mahesh Parameswaran), Sona (Shannon Barrett) and Ajay; and his grandchildren, Meghna, Jatin, Neha and Sawyer.
