She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Slaymaker; her parents, Richard E. Lindauer and Gladys Lindauer (Leh); her daughter Karen L. Hartenstine; and her brother William Lindauer.

She is survived by: her children, J. Randall Slaymaker (Kathy), Thomas R. Slaymaker (Jill) and Kathleen Wausnock (John Mars). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
