We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2024, Ruth A. Shaner (Pottstown, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Stonesifer and Alice Stonesifer (Brant); and her siblings, Paul Jr., Joseph, Robert, Richard Stonesifer and Dorothy Shanley.

She is survived by : her children, Debra Barndt, Donna Mourar, Michael Shaner, Lisa Schade, Melinda Speaker (Scott), Karen Crable (Dwayne) and Richard Shaner; and her sister Kathryn Kovatch. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Cemetery Chapel.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 3550 S. Clark Street, Suite 203 Arlington, VA 22202.
