She was predeceased by: her parents, John Volansky and Ellen Volansky (Kaskus); her daughter Ruth Ellen; her husband Rev. Donald G. Nice; and her brother John N. Volansky.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Horne (Randall) of Millington, Tennessee and Jonathan Nice (Michelle Brynes) of Lansdale, Pennsylvania; her granddaughters, Emily and Sarah Nice; and her nephew John Michael Volansky.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church (229 S Broad St, Jersey Shore, PA 17740). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to either St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church or the Ruth Ellen Nice Memorial Scholarship Inc., c/o RENMSI, 2635 Shady Lane, Lansdale, PA 19446.
