She is survived by: her husband John Robinson Short, Jr.; and her sisters, Nancy Keefer and Betsy Murray of Pasco, WA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:15 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
