With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick L. Powers Jr. (Pottsville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 16, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick L. Sr. Boyer and Dorothy V. Boyer. He is survived by: his wife Karen Larkin Powers; his sons, Benjamin, Matthews Powers, Ian Burgess of Tucson, AZ and Conor Burgess of Brooklyn, NY.; and his siblings, Glenn Powers, Bruce Powers, Gary Powers of Palm Springs, CA, Rosemary Gappa of Eugene, OR and Bonnie Powers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family would prefer remembrance in the form of contributions in memory of Fred be made to St. Patrick Memorial Fund, 319 Mahantongo St. Pottsville, PA 17901.
