It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joan M. Lafferty of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 82, on July 30, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael McShaw and Magaret Williams McShaw; her husband Michael Lafferty; and her siblings, John "Butch" McShaw, Bernard "Bopper" McShaw, Michael McShaw, Robert "Mitch" McShaw and Janice Benedict.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Lukach of Pottsville, Tina Felty of Pottsville, Joan Marie Callaghan of Pottsville, William Lukach of Pottsville and James Hartnett of Pottsville; and her sister Marie Updegrave. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Clair-Wade United Methodist Church (23 N Front St, St Clair, PA 17970). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Clair-Wade United Methodist Church (23 N Front St, St Clair, PA 17970). A burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
