It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Fredericks of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Fredericks and Helen Fredericks (Devine); and his sister Agnes Leffler. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Ann "Millie" Fredericks (Gulbinsky); his sons, John Robert Fredericks, Jr. (Sharon) of Swoyersville and Michael Fredericks (Brandy) of Pottsville; his grandchildren, Lia Ann, May Ann and John Andrew "Johnny" Fredericks; and his brother Lawrence "Butch" Fredericks of Palo Alto. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint John the Baptist Cemetery (913 Mahantongo St, Pottsville, PA 17901). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (913 Mahantongo St, Pottsville, PA 17901).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Jack are asked to be made to St. john the Baptist Church, Pottsville, or a charity of one's choice.
