Joseph J. Post Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2025, at the age of 73, Joseph J. Post of Pottsville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Post Sr. and Ella Post (Schultz); and his brother Gary Post. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Post (Batt); his brother Jerry Post (Kimberly) of Plains; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Post of Schuylkill Haven, Joann Lechanic of Pottsville and Edward Batt of Canada. He is also survived by Niece, great nieces, nephew, and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church (539 Sunbury St, Minersville, PA 17954). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael (539 Sunbury St, Minersville, PA 17954).
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Minersville Lions Club or the Pottsville Ancient Order of the Hibernians.
