Joyce A. Gavaletz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2025, at the age of 83, Joyce A. Gavaletz of Pottsville, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce A. Gavaletz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Smith and Helen Snyder; her husband Francis "Fritz" Gavaletz; and her sister Karen Donahue. She is survived by: her children, Francis Gavaletz (Dale) of Auburn, Mikaela Gavaletz and Joseph E. Gavaletz (Monica) of Pottsville; her grandchildren, Adam, Aaron and Katriona; and her great grandchildren, Ava Jane Gavaletz-Smith, Maxwell Gavaletz, Scarlet Gavaletz, Benny Gavaletz, Nolan Gavaletz and Henry Gavaletz.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Homes (515 W Market St, Pottsville, PA 17901). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
