He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell B. Jr. Keating and Juena Keating (Carestia); and his siblings, Russell B. Keating Jr. and Carol A. Keating. He is survived by: his wife Teresa (Torpey); his children, Kevin (Helen), Lena, Alicia Newman (Damon), Noah, Eli and Patrick (Kayla); his brother Michael; and his mother-in-law Joyce Torpey. He is also survived by in-laws and many loving nephews, nieces and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church (319 Mahantongo St, Pottsville, PA 17901). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Kevin be made to Coach Kevin J. Keating Scholarship C/O 1112 W. Market St. Pottsville, PA 17901. Donation will also be accepted during the viewing.
