He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl R. Hartman and Jane Hartman (MacKay); and his brother Darrell Hartman. He is survived by : his wife Patricia E. Hartman (Stouges); his siblings, David Hartman (Laurie), Lynn Tucak (Curt) and Dean Hartman (Edie); his sister-in-law Charlotte Mistick; his nieces and nephews, David Hartman (Michelle), Susan Kjos (Casey), Curtis Tucak (Alyssa), Sam and Faith Hartman; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Scarlett, Evelyn, Davis Hartman, Baylor, Asher, Elle and Lettie Kjos.
