John A. Vuono Obituary
We announce the death of John A. Vuono of Presto, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 95. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John A. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Vuono and Rose Vuono (DeSantis); and his son-in-law David Kruszka. He is survived by: his children, Mark Vuono (Maggie), Marty Vuono (Kathy), Carl Vuono (Jamie Nettrour), Karen Vaughn (Bob) and Louise Vuono (Michael Serafini); his wife Linda; his niece Kathy Vuono; his nephews, Tim Vuono (Eleanor) and Jeffrey Vuono; and his caregivers, John, Andrew, Chastity, Jodi, Heather, Carol, Bonnie and Linda U.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peters Township Funeral Home (2828 Washington Rd, McMurray, PA 15317). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Benedict the Abbot Church (120 Abington Dr, McMurray, PA 15317).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vuono Family Endowment Collection or the Vuono Family International Scholars Program, University of Notre Dame, Department of Development, 1100 Grace Hall, Notre Dame, IN 46556.
