It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Charles McCafferty Jr. of Prospect Park, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. McCafferty, Sr. and Margaret McCafferty (Dougherty). He is survived by: his wife Linda D. McCafferty (Nowrey); his children, Erin (Jeffrey) and John (Sara); his grandchildren, Ella, Daisy, Finn and Maverick; and his sisters, Patricia (Phillip) and Shirley (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
